Carter began his career in commercial real estate with the John T. Evans Company in 2002, handling a variety of project leasing and tenant representation accounts throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. He joined UCR in 2004, prior to its merger with CBRE, and has spearheaded the marketing efforts for more than a dozen properties including existing developments, free-standing buildings and pad sales.
In addition to project leasing and sales, Carter represents a number of retail and restaurant tenants in their expansion in the DFW area. He was responsible for bringing Houlihan’s Restaurant & Bar back to the DFW market and coordinates their expansion efforts for the state of Texas. Other tenants he works with include Smoothie Factory, Schlotzsky’s Deli, Salata, Games Workshop and Relax the Back.
Away from the office, Carter serves on the board of The Children’s Trust and enjoys sailing, skiing and traveling with his wife and two children.
