Ryan H. May joined CBRE in 2015 through its merger with UCR. He is an Associate supporting Dan Shoevlin and Greg Pierce with project leasing and tenant representation assignments. He currently assists with leasing neighborhood shopping centers, including Suntree Square, Stonebridge Village and Lake Worth Towne Center, and with new store selection for Tyler’s, Eatzi’s, Hash House a Go Go, Café Brazil, Haystack Burgers & Barley, Farmbyrd’s, Rex’s Seafood, Gather Kitchen, Treehouse, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply, Phenix Salons, and Sunstone Yoga.
Prior to UCR, Ryan represented tenants for KW Commercial in Austin, Texas where he assisted with several office and retail clients. Ryan also worked as a leasing agent for Apartment Experts helping new-to-Austin residents find a place to live. Ryan gained retail real estate experience through assisting the expansion efforts of his family’s business, Toys Unique!, Dallas’ oldest neighborhood toy store. There he was able to see the entire process of opening a new store from negotiating a lease to finish out.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and was an active member of Pi Kappa Phi, serving as Treasurer and a representative on the Inter-Fraternity Council. In his free time Ryan enjoys swimming, traveling, doing anything outdoors, spending time with family and friends and all things Aggie football.
