Scott Muller is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Retail Corporate Services group. He is also a member of CBRE’s Global Retail – High Streets Group. With more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Scott possesses expertise in all areas of retail tenant representation from site selection to development.
Scott manages a select team of retail brokers specializing in account management for large-scale retail rollouts across North America. His years of experience and consistent client success are a testament to his ability to provide valuable real estate and business development counsel, which is customized to ensure the goals of each unique client are met.
His team is involved in the deal from start to finish, beginning with research and strategy development to execution and implementation. The team often assists in cross border transactions by providing supply chain management, legal direction and U.S. rollout strategy. Scott spearheaded the retail expansion plan for The Container Store, doubling its portfolio in the past five years. He also set the new market expansion strategy for Shake Shack across the United States.
Scott’s depth of knowledge of the U.S. market from major gateway cities such as L.A. and Miami to smaller markets like Omaha is unmatched. He has executed transactions with every major landlord in the U.S. including Simon, Westfield, Macerich and General Growth Properties (GGP).
Previously, Scott was a founding partner and Principal of Dallas-based Falcon Realty Advisors where he specialized in national tenant representation for such clients as Williams Sonoma Brands, Pottery Barn and Talbots.
