Senior Managing Director, Asset Services
Scott Weaver joined CBRE through its merger withTexas-based UCR in 2015 and is responsible for CBRE’s Retail Asset Services in the Americas and driving new retail business across the United States.
With over 35 years of asset management, development, transactions and mortgage lending experience, Scott has developed strong analytical and technical real estate skills in a broad array of property types, ownership structures and complex real estate situations. He has developed strong relationships with representatives in the retailer, brokerage and institutional real estate communities.
Prior to joining CBRE, Scott was the President and CEO of UCR Asset Services, the management division of UCR where he was responsible for asset/client management and new business development. Under his leadership, UCR Asset Services managed/leased over 19 million square feet of retail assets for various institutional clients in 22 states since company formation in 1996. Prior to UCR Asset Services, Scott worked in various functions and locations for Prudential Real Estate Investors for fifteen years where he was responsible for the asset management of Prudential’s national separate account retail property portfolio. After leaving Prudential, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Terranomics Retail Services, the San Francisco based Chain Links retail affiliate.
Scott is a licensed Real Estate Salesman in Texas and is actively involved in the International Council of Shopping Centers. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Economics and Business Administration from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Finance with a concentration in Real Estate.
