Zachary Ballenger joined the CBRE team in 2013. He is working with Senior Vice President Scott Muller, Senior Associate Katie Braden and Associate Kiley Dunlap. As an associate with the Dallas Team, he specializes in multi-market retail brokerage, providing expertise in site selection, lease negotiations and market research to support national and international clients.
He has a strong interest in and focuses on business development and finding strategic opportunities for companies. That, coupled with his commercial real estate expertise, makes him a valuable asset to clients looking to expand and enter a new market. Zachary was instrumental in the Dallas/Fort Worth rollout of YouFit, a national gym chain. Alongside his team, he successfully created and executed a market strategy for eight new YouFit locations in the Metroplex.
As a trusted advisor to his clients, Zachary provides quality market knowledge, skillful negotiation and utilizes an expansive industry network to provide the best possible service. Due to client trust, he is given opportunities far beyond that of retail exclusively. Notably, he negotiated the lease of an office space for Kering Group/Gucci in Mexico City.
Zachary has been fortunate to provide services for clients such as West Elm, Rejuvenation, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, The Container Store, Talbots, Gucci, Saint Laurent, YouFit Health Clubs, Shake Shack, Firebirds, Hai Street Kitchen and Insomnia Cookies.
Prior to joining the team, Zachary was an assistant football coach at McNeese State University. Fun Fact: a self-proclaimed wine connoisseur, he spent seven years in the wine industry on both the distribution and retail sides. He also enjoys cooking, movies and playing golf, and has football season tickets at Texas A&M.
