UCR Houston Adds Scott Gardner and Chris Pitts, Strengthens Retailer Representation Platform

HOUSTON, Texas, March 31, 2014 — UCR Houston, a leading retail real estate services provider, today announced Scott Gardner has joined UCR Houston as Partner and Chris Pitts as Vice President. With strong experience in retailer representation, these new additions help expand the firm’s retailer representation platform and serve to bolster UCR’s offering of reliable service for its clients.

Scott Gardner comes to UCR with a strong understanding of the Houston market. His primary focus is on partnering with retailer and restaurant clients to meet and exceed their long term visions for growth. Scott’s tenant relationships include Mattress Firm, Frost Bank, First Hartford Realty (CVS preferred developer), In & Out Hamburgers, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and formerly Whataburger Restaurants.  While working with Whataburger, Scott was recognized in 2009 as broker of the year for the company.

Chris Pitts provides UCR with a valuable understanding of local and national market rollout and expansion strategies, as well as assisting property owners in securing tenants for anchor spaces and pad sites, and disposing of redundant assets for his clients. His current client list includes Pacific Dental, ALDI, 5 Guys, CVS, and Elements Therapeutic Massage.

Prior to joining UCR, both Scott and Chris worked for SRS Houston where Scott served as Senior Vice President and Co-Market Leader.
